Basel and Soeder have known each other for a while. In 2023, we opened our first permanent store at the Basel SBB train station. Now the story continues right in the heart of the city: Our new store at Freie Strasse 89 is open.
In collaboration with su.studio, we have designed a space whose material palette is inspired by our factory in Zurich. Birch wood, brushed stainless steel, and light-colored mineral surfaces reflect the materials that are part of our daily work there. The unique geometry of the 43 m² space was not concealed but instead shapes the entire design.
At the center is a triangular island around which the store is laid out. Here, you can explore our entire selection, try out all the fragrances and products, and refill your Soeder bottles at the refill counter.
Our stores are also places for people who are interested in natural fragrances, natural care, and how our products are made. By talking with our team, you can learn more about ingredients, formulations, and the development of each product.
The new store brings together many of the elements that define Soeder today: our roots in Zurich, our close ties to product development, a wide variety of natural fragrances, and Natural Care products that go far beyond our well-known Hand Soap.
