"When you visit us at the Factory , you immediately recognize what Soeder stands for: transparency, sustainability and creativity. This is our headquarters and our production site. It's also a visitor center and a place of discovery."

ALL-IN-ONE SPACE

The first thing you notice about our Factory is its open layout. Across 2,000 square meters, all work areas are situated in close proximity to one another: fragrance and product development, manufacturing, and bottling. Our office spaces are also integrated here. The Factory a creative hub, a space for communication, and a visitor center all at once. All these functions are connected in two distinct ways: through the natural light that Factory into the Factory thanks to the generous skylights, and the soft terracotta tones that create a modern and pleasant working atmosphere. In short: the transparency that defines Soeder is reflected in this open-plan design just as much as the character of the historic, listed hall.

OF PEOPLE AND MONSTERS

Why is one of our soap tanks called "Monster"? When we bought it four years ago, it seemed huge to us. In the meantime, it has been given a big brother with a capacity of 5000 liters. The imposing tanks and machines are the heart of our production and characterize the appearance of the Factory. A special highlight: the production process of natural soap and co. can be experienced up close through large windows.

A MILESTONE IN SUSTAINABILITY

Our Factory is geared towards fulfilling exemplary ecological principles. We also take a comprehensive approach to minimizing our waste. This includes recycling all production materials, reducing packaging waste and reusing resources wherever possible.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY AS THE KEY

We want to develop into an energy-positive company and are well on the way to achieving this: a photovoltaic system supplies the company with electricity, while advanced energy recovery systems capture and reuse the heat generated during production. Our water consumption is also very precisely controlled: the recovery of water energy optimizes the cooling processes and reduces overall consumption. These innovations reduce overall energy consumption and optimize production efficiency.

"We want visitors to see our processes and understand the craftsmanship and sustainability behind every product. We use the best natural ingredients that are sustainably sourced and processed."

SURROUNDED BY LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE

What could be better than working next door to people who think and work in a similar way to you? The historic SBB halls of Werkstadt Zürich are home to numerous companies with whom we have mutual respect and, in some cases, long-standing friendships. Many of them are run by their founders, and almost all of them have their roots in Zurich. For example, the sustainable bag brand QWSTION, the espresso machine manufacturer ZURIGA and the coffee roastery ViCAFE.
