ABOUT SOEDER
Natural personal care products must be good. Since launching our first Soeder hand soap in 2015, we’ve expanded our range to offer a complete routine—from hands to body to hair. The philosophy behind it has always remained the same: fewer, but better products that serve their purpose and uphold our promise of high-quality natural personal care.
Our commitment to naturalness isn’t just a description—it’s a standard that’s set even before the formulation begins. We work exclusively with ingredients that are 100% naturally derived and use only essential oils for fragrance in all our products.
The entire product development process takes place in-house: Our perfumer creates the scents, and our in-house laboratory then develops the formulations. This ensures that every product receives the time and attention it needs. Production also takes place at our manufacturing facility following conception and development, so every step—right up to shipping—remains in-house.
Natural Ingredients
Out of conviction, we use only ingredients that are 100% natural. Carefully selected and blended into high-quality formulas, they form the foundation of our natural skincare products.
In-House Production
All of our formulations are developed, manufactured, bottled, and packaged at our own facility—the Zurich Factory. This allows us to maintain control over every step of the process and consistently ensure quality and attention to detail.
Refill
Our glass bottles are designed to be refilled. This is made possible by our extensive network of refill stations, where products can be easily refilled and the bottles remain in circulation for a long time.
Our Fragrances
Our fragrances are characterized by all-natural scents and therefore unfold differently: more subdued and never overpowering. They create depth and character through their richness and complexity, without ever pushing themselves into the foreground.
Soeder fragrances are subtle enough for everyday use, yet distinctive enough to become a signature scent. The inspiration behind the fragrances and products comes from the elements of nature and its diverse landscapes—from its plants, colors, minerals, and even molecules, which our perfumer draws upon in the creation process.
Our Story
It all began in Zurich in 2013 with Hanna and Johan Olzon Åkerström, who founded Soeder together with a group of friends. While they were running a concept store for everyday items, they soon developed their first product: a high-quality natural soap. They created it because no one else was making the kind of soap they wanted.
So in 2015, the first soaps were produced through hands-on experimentation, immediate use, and close interaction with the surrounding city—all in a garage in Zurich. Soon after, Soeder found its way into the city’s restaurants, bars, and cultural venues. One of them was Club Zukunft.
Those early days still define the brand today. Soeder has grown into an established company, yet its original ethos remains: making everyday life better, staying close to authentic places, and creating products that people use, keep, refill, and keep coming back to.
