DO NOT WASH
Due to the way this garment has been made and its particular structure, we recommend dry cleaning.
Ask your dry cleaner for an environmentally friendly method, preferably without the use of perchloroethylene.
WOOL PROPERTIES
Because the individual fibers of wool are surrounded by a wax called lanolin, it naturally has good protective properties against dirt and dust. Instead of washing the garment, it is recommended to first shake off dirt and stains or carefully remove them selectively.
Pure wool fibers transport moisture through their fibers to the outside and thus clean themselves. If the garment has taken on strange odors, you can hang it outdoors overnight or in the bathroom after or during a shower. There it absorbs the humidity of the air - this also helps to smooth wrinkles.
PILLING
Cleaning, but also wearing wool can lead to so-called pilling. This means that loose fibers find their way to the surface and form small beads there due to abrasion. This has no effect on the functionality of the garment. If you find it unsightly, you can easily remove pilling with a pilling comb or fabric shaver. After a while the pilling will become less or disappear completely.
